Behold two Christians! They may attend the same church, or live in the
same home. They sing the same songs. They worship the same God. They
fellowship together. But they are supporters of different political
candidates, and therefore different philosophies.
There the conflict begins.
When Christians who normally interact and communicate with me suddenly stop doing so. There's no excuse. Demons are at work!
When Christians
who were once close to me, but for some fanciful, lofty and idealistic
reason distance themselves from me. There's no excuse. Demons are at
work.
Just like racial prejudice, political prejudice is demonic,
and demoniacally controlled. Evil loves to divide Christians, and is
good at it! You don't believe that? Go back and study history!
There
is an almost imperceptible line between righteous outrage, and riotous
rampage. The latter may seem out of control, but is in fact demoniacally
controlled! Their puppets are mind slaves who think they are in
control, but are in fact the ones being controlled!
Demons feed
the frenzy, and push the pressure points, for they know your weak spots.
They know how to play on your vanity, getting you worked up and tangled
in their web of deception; manipulating you into acting on what you
believe are your own thoughts, whereas in reality you have become their
mind slave! You become firmly ensnared into thinking that you are the
one with the clearest revelation, and accurate insight. Then the
serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. "For God knows that
in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like
God, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:4-5 NKJV) Sounds familiar?
Don't let political prejudice destroy you for whom Christ died! Submit to God! Resist the devil and he will flee from you!
