Do pastors have a moral and scriptural obligation, and mandate to speak out against any and every type of wrong doing, regardless of position and power of the perceived perpetrator?
Ye are the salt of the earth, Jesus said. As Christians we have a vital and key role to play in the godly influence of a nation.
Read again the words below attributed to Martin Niemöller a German pastor and theologian (1892–1984):
"First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me."
The Blog Title means Not Politically Correct just Biblical Compliance!...or Biblically Correct! Sometimes you have thoughts and ideas that you just want to share. At other times it's just the truth that has already been discovered but neglected or maybe as yet undiscovered. Then it's also an episode or incident along the way. I hope to cover them all and sometimes run the gauntlet of the opposition! However in it all may Jesus be glorified and souls become aware of Him!
